Payment & Refund Policy
Effective date: June 4, 2026
Draft — pending California attorney sign-off. Not yet legally binding.
1. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Service-Call & Diagnostic Fees
A diagnostic/service-call fee is disclosed before service and is non-refundable. Card processing fees are non-refundable.
3. Labor
Once labor has been performed it is non-refundable; defective workmanship is covered under our Limited Warranty.
4. Written Estimates
For appliance/HVAC repairs we provide a written estimate before any work and do not charge beyond it without your prior consent (CA Business & Professions Code §9844).
5. Lower-Cost Payment Options
To pay without card processing costs, ask about cash, check, or bank-transfer (Zelle) options.
6. Your Right to Cancel (Non-Emergency In-Home Contracts)
Draft — pending California attorney sign-off. For certain non-emergency repair or installation contracts agreed at your home, California law may give you the right to cancel within three (3) business days (California Civil Code §1689.5 et seq.). Where this right applies, we provide a written Notice of Cancellation with your work order. For urgent or emergency repairs that you ask us to begin immediately, you may be asked to sign a written waiver of this three-day right, as permitted by law.
7. Language & Translated Estimates
Draft — pending California attorney sign-off. If we negotiate your repair primarily in Spanish, you are entitled to a translated copy of the estimate or contract before you sign, in accordance with California Civil Code §1632. Ask us and we will provide it.
